Tasting Notes
Black rose, black currants with a hints of mineral and spice aromatics. It has a very natural deep color (Don’t spill this one, bleach won’t help). Concentrated with a bright focus. Currants, black cherries and a touch of stony minerality in the mouth that is juicy, rich, and dense. It is a big structured wine with a polished finish.
Winemaking Notes
This lot was completely punched cap fermented by hand. Then barrel aged for 39 months before bottling.
This may become a new favorite varietal for many, but this is a rare Petit Verdot that is so complete. Enjoy!
