The fruit was punched cap fermented and barrel aged for 32 months in selected French Oak barrels then blended prior to bottling.
This is the first wine I have made in this blend design in my 30+ years of winemaking. For those that have followed my Reserve type Cabernet Francs and Reserve Merlots since the early 80's this will remind many. But in this blend of 50% Cabernet Franc and 50% Merlot, we have reached a new pinnacle.
A new favorite for everyone. Only 104 cases were made of this vintage.
