2009 pureCru Secret 7 Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml SOLD OUT
This rare wine is made from the original and highly acclaimed Secret Clone vineyard in the hills east of Howell Mountain. It is a blend of two lots, Secret Clone and Clone 7 (one of the great historical clones).
The production was limited to just 97 (ninety-seven!) cases. This truely will be one of the best wines you will have had in recent years, bar none!

It is a little dangerous to give a projected rating to a wine I’ve never had before, but there is a lot to like in this wine, including sweet tannin, up-front, complex plum, black currant, and cedary fruit. The wine is delicious already and will certainly be very drinkable when bottled and released. This is a hedonist’s Cabernet Sauvignon.

This is an outstanding Cabernet, it is what prompted me to join the 100 member CRU club. I am not proficient at explaining the variuos tastes, aromas, etc., I just like cabs and this is one of the best I havehad. THANKS!!
